I’m Joseph Clarke, an award-winning Director of Photography based in South Australia.

Over the years, I have worked on a diverse range of projects across Australia, including feature films, television series, documentaries, commercials, short films, and music videos. My approach to cinematography is deeply rooted in traditional techniques, with a strong emphasis on meticulous preparation, and developing a distinct visual language tailored to each project. I believe in clear camera motivation and intentional storytelling, ensuring every frame serves the narrative.

Some of the notable projects I’ve contributed to include Couch 44 S2 & S3, Spithood, & Liability. I was also recently nominated for an Antenna Award for my work on the television series Couch 44 (S2).

Currently, I’m working on an exciting feature documentary Kat Willimas following an Olympic skate coach, and am in pre-production for a feature film The Shadow of the Trust.
